We’ve had a few contacts saying that someone would love to help but can’t see how their business could participate. There are many ways to help even if you don’t own a business that seems relevant.

Think outside of the box – we’re guessing that everyone has some great ideas that we haven’t considered!

Gift Certificates and Gift Cards

Promise a gift certificate or free meal at a local restaurant. Tell us about it and we’ll put it on the list. Be sure to include the restaurant name. When you hear from a visiting service man or woman, you can make arrangement with them. You could also make an arrangement with a local establishment for the item to be picked up at that location.

Or send a Gift Certificate to the Pine Island Chamber of Commerce and they’ll get it to a service member or member’s family. Be sure to included any special instructions if needed.
