Thanks to Pink Shell Resort and many other local contributors, Operation Open Arms was able to provide a local couple a free sunset wedding on Fort Myers Beach this past weekend. This celebratory event for Mr. and Mrs. Lopez was also a celebration of Operation Open Arms’ 90th free wedding.
Operation Open Arms of Southwest Florida 
I heard about Operation Open Arms on the radio a few weeks ago. Capt. John was being interviewed by Trey Radel on his talk show. My wife and I have a timeshare on FMY Beach and were not able to use it this year. What a perfect opportunity to donate it to such a worthy cause.

I had just finished reading this wonderful story in The Pine Island Eagle about Caitlin and Sgt. Gabriel Lopez’s wedding. What the Operation Open Arms organization and you do for these families is truly commendable. I have followed the great things that your organization has done for our young military couples over the past few years and applaud you and those who volunteer their services with your organization. Keep up the wonderful job!
